When you think about the times in which we live it is no wonder that the church once again comes under attack! On May 7 of this year the House of Representatives passed bill number 1592. This bill was presented as one to strengthen the rights of gays and protect them from violent hate rimes. But if you read with a broader understanding and look a little deeper at the language of the bill, it has the potential to be used to silence open discussion about the sin of homosexuality by virtually anyone in various arenas or more specifically by religious leaders in churches. That is a serious NO, NO!!! America is already in trouble and now we have catapulted ourselves into deeper peril.
“Yes, I want all of God’s people to be protected from physical violence and I also want them protected from spiritual onslaught.” Evangelist Montgomery passionately emphasizes, “It is common decency at the least to want all people protected from violence of any kind especially in light of the fact that the FBI released a report in December just last year showing violent crime increased by 3.7 percent nationwide during the first six months of 2006! No one is questioning the need for more stringent laws to equally protect all people.
But HR 1592 is not solely seeking the protection of persons from criminal attacks.” “When legislators begin to dictate to God’s preachers and prophets that they cannot teach against the demonic stronghold of sexual perversions, or any other sin, without grave consequences then we have altogether erred. Preaching against involvement in homosexuality does not equal advocating hate crimes. Society needs to wake up and seriously analyze the danger of accepting the subtle selling of HR 1592.
This bill is disguised as a civil rights bill and is being compared to other laws and legislation that were used to bring equal rights to African Americans.” Evangelist Montgomery is very disturbed that the bid for homosexual rights and acceptance is gaining momentum on the back of the civil rights movement here in America in the 1960’s. “Homosexuality is incomparable to skin color or race. Being Black is not a sin. Slavery was an appalling sin. Jim Crow was an atrocious sin. Discrimination remains a covert, somehow acceptable sin in many instances.
Homosexuality is not to be compared with struggle of a people!” She believes that the church, and more precisely the African American church, needs to really become more informed about the implication of the repercussions of this bill 1592 in terms of preachers and Christians inability to bring deliverance to homosexuals, inappropriate parallelisms to the civil rights of the African American race, and the overall elimination of all U.S. citizens constitutional right to freedom of speech! In her new book, Clothed With The Sun, Evangelist Montgomery gives fresh revelation and unprecedented insight into the root cause of homosexuality. She redefines the term and offers deliverance to those seeking a way out of the lifestyle.
Evangelist Montgomery is asking every Pastor, Evangelist, Women’s Ministry Director, and all men and women of the gospel to get a copy of her book so that together we can have greater understanding of this last hour stronghold to help maximize our effectiveness as we take authority and break the back of the enemy! Homosexuality is a sin. It is not the only sin. But it is the only sin that totally and negatively changes the very core nature of a human being. The day of Sodom and Gomorrah is here! It is the job of every believer to bring God’s people back to spiritual empowerment and sexual wholeness. I urge each of you to contact your Senators and Congress persons and raise your voice against HR1592.
